I discovered Imago last summer. The band performs songs that are adaptations of poems written by Karin Boye and Pär Lagerkvist, with a style inspired by traditional Swedish folk music and a pop touch.
I met the band in Bagarmossen in the suburbs of Stockholm, where they set up a nice little scene outside Siri’s apartment. The setting and the weather are perfect for this intimate moment where the band performed 2 songs, “Det Blir Vackert Där Du Går” by the poet Pär Lagerkvist, and “Vårvisa” by Karin Boye.
