Back in Stockholm for the 15th year of I Love Sweden ! We kick off with a session featuring Eric Palmqwist, whom I’ve filmed twice over the past two years.
Eric wanted to share a new song in which he pays tribute to Olle Ljungström, of the Swedish band Reeperbahn, by covering "Älskling du Är Som En Pistol," originally released in 1983.
For this new rendition, he transforms the original post-punk track into a more intimate acoustic version, filmed near his home in Kärrtorp.
As is started to rain, we took shelter at his place for a second song : "Samlaren'', released in 2022, performed on the organ.
