I discovered Menke's music last summer and I really liked her minimalist folk style and in Swedish.
A delicate and soft voice with beautiful melodies on the guitar, perfect for a session.
I'm meeting Sara near her home outside Stockholm, to make me discover a very special place called "Skyspace”, an installation created by James Turrell.
The interior of a wooden cabin, which consists of a white painted domed ceiling with an aperture to the open sky, which can makes color variants.
We start by filming a first song outside to enjoy the nature side of the place. Then it's when the sun begins at sunset that the magic begins inside. The light changes in intensity and hue, we are like out of time, creating a magical and very peaceful moment . It was a really special session a very nice time spent with Menke.
