LESLI - Documentaire "Sounds of Stockholm"
Tourné le 25 août 2010 • Lidingö, Stockholm
Lesli is one of my favorite artists who I’m trying to get discovered. I filmed him several times in Stockholm, so it was with no doubt that he'd be part of this project.
During this trip, I was staying in Lidingö and Lesli also lives on this island outside Stockholm.
Last time we filmed, we went out in the nature, and I wanted something similar.
So we went into the woods looking first for a water tower, and finally played one of his new songs “The Subaudible Truth” among the trees.
The rain was starting to pour as we were changing location...so we decided to have a lunch break. It was too rainy, so we finished our session with two songs in the yard of his house.
One cover by Bert Jansch “Needle of Death” and my favorite song on his lastest album, “Womb”.
