FREYR

This summer I finaly decided to go to the north and to visit Umeå. The occasion to film few locals artists, including one who contacted me a year before.
Freyr is swedish-islandic playing folk music and I really liked his style.
We are in July, and over there at this time of year the sun never sets. I always wanted to see that and also to film a session in the middle of the night when it's still bright light, which we decided to do. We got up at 2.30 and go to the center, it's daylight as if it was 9 am!
Freyr plays a song in the middle of an empty street. The city is still sleeping but the birds are singing, an unreal and magical moment.
I meet Freyr again 2 days later to film a second song. This time we are leaving the city to find ourself in the nature. After a small hiking in the middle of a big forest, we are on the hights of Kullaskogen with an amazing view of pine trees.
